Melodic Italian AOR is the style purveyed by G.L.A.S. The
title comes from the band having existed 18 years and making a
return after 14 years. G.L.A.S. has issued 4 releases over
their career and the band is definite a labor of love for all
involved.
18 contains 6 tracks in all. The songs are melodic, and it
is obvious that English is not their primary language. The
production is very sparse but the effort is still worthy of a
listen. "Take Me Now Or Go" is the lead track that may
call to mind Stay The Night by Julliet. There is some
really nice guitar elements to "I Cry Alone Tonight". "The
Sweet Sound Of The Hard Falling Rain" is a bit more laid back
while "If You Walk Away" is more of an early 80's rocker type
track. Closing track "Your Dreams" has a melody line
similar to the Stage Dolls "Love Cries".
