For those who aren’t in the loop, The Dead Daisies are an internationally acclaimed band influenced by 70’s and early 80’s rock. Their sound is soulful and accessible–equal parts of Aerosmith, Bad Company and Foreigner: muscular vocals, bluesy riffs, big choruses, powerful melodies and strong hooks.
Comprising stellar musicianship and pulverizing live shows this musical collective of players which currently include Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake/Dio), Michael Devin (Whitesnake), David Lowy (Mink/Red Phoenix), John Corabi (Motley Crue/The Scream) and Brian Tichy (Foreigner/Ozzy Osbourne).
During rehearsals in New York Brian Tichy, Michael Devin & Doug Aldrich were jamming on Whitesnake’s “Slide It In” and it rocked! It brought back memories of their time together in Whitesnake.
As the Daisies have done in the past with other great songs, this is a ‘Tip Of The Hat’ to the legendary David Coverdale & Whitesnake. The band can’t wait to play it live at their upcoming shows! Check it out here for a glimpse into those rehearsals.
